The writer will be responsible for creating and updating software documentation for our Linear Controls products. The documentation will be available in online, PDF, and printed formats.
The writer will work closely with the Controls and ID development team to research, write, and update technical and editorial reviews for product documentation. In addition, he/she will participate with the development team in the planning, and testing phases of the products. He/she will also contribute to projects that improve the quality of the documentation and processes.
Bachelor’s/Master’s in mathematics, hard sciences, or engineering; strong mathematical skills including complex variables, linear algebra, and transform theory.
Pluses:
- Knowledge of a programming language, ideally, MATLAB or C; experience writing online documentation, preferably HTML-based.
- Knowledge of control theory concepts, linear systems theory, applications, and techniques; experience writing for an engineering audience.
