Working under supervision, helps produce documentation that complies with documentation plan requirements. Develops and tests user scenarios that show how to use the product being documented. Obtains technical information from project developers, program managers, product managers, testers and product support personnel; converts specific feedback into documentation. Responds to editorial and reviewer feedback.

This position is for a Documentation Writer/Editor and will include the following duties:- Document user requirements for configuration of a Trackwise application. Includes both writing and editing documentation.- Should be able to translate verbally communicated user requirements into a technical document of system requirements. - Assist in writing, review and edits of validation documentation including but not limited to UAT scripts, validation plans, configuration and design specifications.

Create technical documentation associated with design, coding, unit test, integration and software testing efforts for a complex distributed embedded system using CMMI Level 3 development processes. Documentation will reflect software development carried out within an embedded Linux C++ environment; using UML for design documentation;and, may require some participation in design reviews, integration, and testing efforts to understand the overall documentation within the project “context”. Essential Knowledge: Candidate must have extensive experience writing technical documentation within a software development environment.
