Writing maintenance manuals for aircraft equipment using SGML/XML. 2+ years experience writing aircraft equipment maintenance manuals to the piece part level, pilot checklists to military and ATA specifications, and developing illustrated parts lists to support defined maintenance levels. Must be proficient using SGML.XML and have the ability to assist others in the usage of SGML/XML. Must be familiar with text and graphic programs such as Word, Powerpoint, Adobe Framemaker, Photoshop and Arbortext. Must have experience interpreting engineering data to write aircraft operating procedures/checklists/descriptions for military or commercial operations. Excellent written communication and analytical skills. Knowledge of FAA certification procedures/requirements a plus.
